Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Comments on Decision to End UNICEF Representative’s Tenure in Armenia

“For the Armenian side, the shortcomings in the implementation of her mandate and the uncooperative working style of UNICEF representative in the Republic of Armenia, Marine Clarke-Hatting, have been problematic, therefore the government of the Republic of Armenia made a decision to end Clarke-Hatting’s tenure as UNICEF representative in the Republic of Armenia. The UN Resident Coordinator and UNICEF representatives have been informed of the decision,” Anna Naghdalyan stated.
