Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, who is also set to take part in France’s presidential elections in 2022, stressed that France may recognize the Republic of Artsakh.
She wrote this on her Twitter page, sharing French renowned philosopher and writer Bernard-Henri Lévy’s article published in “Le Point” under the title “France May Recognize the Republic of Artsakh,” and wrote: “I unequivocally agree, France may recognize the Republic of Artsakh.”
In his article, Bernard-Henri Lévy stressed that France must find the courage to support the Armenian side that has come under attack, also noting that “supporting Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh is a political, moral and almost metaphysical imperative.”
