On Monday evening, 4 November 2019, a reception was held at the Yerevan office of the Central Board of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, during which ADL member Sedrak Balyan presented to the Central Board colleagues a piece of stone from his recent pilgrimage to Mount Ararat, as a “relic,” as well as the proud flag of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party which he had unfurled at the summit of the mountain.
On this occasion, Balyan noted that, as he had said weeks earlier, he repeats the same words today: climbing the mountain was not an ordinary act for him, but a pilgrimage, during which he gained additional strength and vigour, especially when he unfurled the proud flag of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party.
On this occasion, he also expressed his gratitude to the Central Board colleagues and to Chairman Mike Kharabian, noting that immediately after his pilgrimage, the Central Board was the first body to highly appreciate his act.
In turn, Mike Kharabian, delivering a speech, noted that Sedrak Balyan’s act demonstrates that the ranks of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party remain strong, and also reaffirms the deep conviction that the party’s future belongs especially to those young people who, armed with faith, hope, and the will to dedicate themselves, have come and joined the ranks of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party.
The Central Board colleagues also posed questions to Sedrak Balyan, requesting additional information about his pilgrimage, the general conditions of the route, as well as other details.
In turn, Balyan explained in detail and answered the questions addressed to him by the colleagues.
