By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, more than 100 healthcare workers and representatives of agencies have been awarded commendation letters for their dedication and conscientious work shown in the prevention and treatment of the coronavirus pandemic in Armenia.
They represent “Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital” CJSC, “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” Medical Center, “Traumatology Scientific Center” CJSC, “Saint Astvatsamayr” Medical Center, the hospital of the Police Medical Department, “Artashat Medical Center” CJSC, “Kapan Medical Center” CJSC, “Vanadzor Infectious Diseases Hospital” CJSC, “Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital” CJSC, “Arabkir” Medical Complex-Institute of Child and Adolescent Health, “Erebuni Medical Center” CJSC, “Astghik” Medical Center, “Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology” CJSC, Yerevan State Medical University named after M. Heratsi, “Vedi Medical Center” CJSC, Dilijan’s “IR-WINK” LLC, “Spitak Medical Center” CJSC, “Armenia” Republican Medical Center, “National Center for Disease Control and Prevention” SNCO, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, and other agencies.
It should be noted that the staff of the “Nork Infectious Diseases” National Center had sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. In the open letter, they had expressed their dissatisfaction, as none of the hospital’s employees had been awarded during the award ceremony dedicated to Independence Day. The Prime Minister’s press secretary, Mane Gevorgyan, had stated that 12 healthcare workers had been nominated for a state award on 21 September, and that 100 or more healthcare workers were to be awarded in the coming days with the Prime Minister’s commemorative medal and commendation letter.
