The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has signed a decree initiating a constitutional amendment process regarding the election of a president by the National Assembly and its specific procedures in the event that the presidency falls vacant during martial law.
On 13 February, the draft amendment to the Artsakh Constitution was submitted for discussion in the National Assembly, according to the Office of the President of Artsakh.
