Toivo Claar, the European Union’s Special Representative for the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, has welcomed Armenia’s provision of humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken Turkey. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.
“In the conditions of such a great tragedy in Turkey, it is inspiring to see the support shown by neighboring Armenia and the positive response that followed,” Claar wrote.
Let us recall that Armenia sent humanitarian assistance to Turkey. The trucks loaded with humanitarian aid crossed the closed border via the Margara bridge and headed to the earthquake-affected region.
