In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 20 August, a total of 42,319 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 35,476 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 5,756 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 190,560 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 263 newly confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 250 recovered.
Three new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 836).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were a 55-year-old man and women aged 61 and 81. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more cases have been recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another disease. The total number of such cases is 251.
