Starting 20 January, a new procedure for obtaining certain food items will take effect in the Republic of Artsakh. This was stated in a report prepared by the Artsakh public television company.
Rice, pasta, buckwheat, sugar and oil will be sold only by ration card.
The distribution of ration cards will begin on 17 January. In the capital, service points will operate in all public schools and at the Artsakh State University. A total of 19 points will operate.
Residents of regional centres can receive their ration cards from the buildings of their regional administrations, while those living in rural communities can receive them from their community offices.
