On 30 May 2022, a meeting took place in Jerusalem between the leadership of the ADL chapter and deputies of the RA National Assembly arriving from Armenia — Narek Zeynalyan (Chairman of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Health Affairs) and Lusine Badalyan (Deputy Chairman of the same committee).
The Jerusalem chapter was represented by: Deputy Chairman of the ADL Central Board, Hagop Andresyan; former member of the ADL Central Board and long-time Chairman of the Jerusalem chapter, Hagop Sheohmelian; Chairman of the Jerusalem Regional Board, Hagop Panosyan; Vice-Chairman, Vigen Lepejian; Secretary, Sero Naggashian; Treasurer, Sevan Panosyan; and members Krikor Kejekushyan and Beny Sheohmelian.
The meeting took place at the luxurious “Nafoura” restaurant.
Mr. Andresyan, taking the floor, welcomed the deputies and introduced the members of the local ADL chapter Board to the guests. Then, during the luncheon, an exchange of views took place in a cordial atmosphere.
The RA NA deputies provided extensive information on Armenia’s foreign and domestic political developments and economic matters.
It should be noted that the deputies are in Jerusalem with soldiers of the RA Defense Army who were wounded during the 44-day war, who visited the holy sites.
These visits will be ongoing, once a month, with the participation of other groups of wounded soldiers.
