On February 3, Ambassador Makunts held an online meeting with Congresswoman Judy Chu. During the meeting, the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the issue of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan, and the challenges created for the Armenian population of Artsakh as a result of the blockade of the Lachin corridor were discussed.
As reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United States, the Ambassador highly appreciated the Congresswoman’s support on issues important to the Republic of Armenia.
