On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her home in Ramallah, Palestine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Varsen Aghabekian received the administrative bodies of the ADL and the HEM of Jerusalem. Joining the administrations was also the Vice-Chairman of the ADL Central Board, Hagop Andreassian.
The Chairman of the Jerusalem ADL, Hagop Panosian, who is also a member of the ADL Central Board, headed the ADL administrative body, while Sarkis Jrnazian headed the HEM administrative body.
The 2-hour meeting was unique in that the Minister had wanted the meeting to take place in a family atmosphere, at her home.
Souvenirs were presented to the Minister by the ADL and HEM administrations.
After the official congratulatory remarks, a discussion took place on issues concerning the community, the Armenian people as a whole, and the Homeland. Speaking about the relations between Armenia and Palestine, Mr. Andreassian stressed that the Minister should work to strengthen relations between the two countries, and expressed readiness to help, placing his capabilities at the service of making this important step a success. In a warm atmosphere, the Minister personally hosted those present.
