By prior appointment, on Monday evening, December 22, 2026, a delegation of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party’s Cyprus Regional Board held an official meeting with the Armenian Representative of Cyprus, Mr. Vartkes Mahdessian, at his representative office.
Mr. Mahdessian warmly welcomed the ADL delegates, stressing that throughout his tenure of some twenty years, he has always been ready and willing to meet and exchange views with, without exception, the representatives of all structures and organisations comprising the Armenian community of Cyprus.
Subsequently, a number of principal reflections and concerns arising from the current situation of the Armenian community of Cyprus, along with certain suggestions and proposals made with a view to addressing them, were brought to the attention of the Representative.
Following the useful information and explanations provided by Mr. Mahdessian regarding the issues raised, during a frank conversation held in a very cordial atmosphere, practical opinions and constructive suggestions were expressed on both sides.
The meeting concluded with mutual good wishes expressed on the occasion of the approaching festive days.
