The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov, discussed issues related to the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation announced that at the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation took place today, 10 February, during which the ministers exchanged views on a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda, expressing mutual readiness to strengthen allied relations between Yerevan and Moscow.
The Russian side emphasized the rapid resumption of work on the implementation of the trilateral agreements signed at the highest level, including the unblocking of all transport and economic links, the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the coordination of the parameters of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku.
