As a result of the war, many Artsakh residents were left homeless, leaving behind all their property and years of hard work to the enemy. Many displaced Artsakh residents continue to remain in Armenia, taking refuge in various temporary shelters, guest houses and hotels.
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has taken upon itself the task of addressing the housing and food needs of Hadrut families. More than 100 Artsakh residents have temporarily settled in various hotels, hoping that soon all difficulties will be left in the past.
Incidentally, a few days ago the Fund’s Deputy Director Ararat Khulgatyan visited Artsakh and met with State Minister Grigori Martirosyan and Minister of Urban Development Aram Sargsyan. The progress of the work carried out by the All-Armenian Fund in Artsakh and the details of the launch of new programmes were discussed.
“The Fund will try to finance the renovation of houses and apartments damaged by the war. The Fund will invest around 2 million dollars for the implementation of this programme,” said the Fund’s Executive Director Haykak Arshamyan.
