National Assembly Deputy Hamazasp Danielyan Submits Resignation

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hamazasp Danielyan submitted a resignation application on 9 June, according to a statement by National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan. It was also noted that, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” if within one week after the publication of the resignation the deputy withdraws the resignation application by written request, the President of the National Assembly makes a statement

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hamazasp Danielyan submitted a resignation application on 9 June, according to a statement by National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan.

It was also noted that, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” if within one week after the publication of the resignation the deputy withdraws the resignation application by written request, the President of the National Assembly makes a statement to that effect; if the deputy does not withdraw the resignation application, a protocol is drawn up on the termination of his or her powers, which is signed and published by the President of the National Assembly.

From the moment of the publication of the protocol, the resignation is considered accepted.
