The National Assembly gave its consent to the Chief Prosecutor’s motion to arrest Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” faction.
87 deputies of the “My Step” faction voted in favour of the motion.
Let us recall that earlier the National Assembly had given its consent to the motion to strip Gagik Tsarukyan of parliamentary immunity.
The two opposition forces in the National Assembly — the Bright Armenia Party and the Prosperous Armenia Party — did not take part in these votes.
