In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 17 June, a total of 18,033 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 6,814 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 10,818 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 87,600 tests have been conducted. Thus, we have 544 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 243 recovered.
Nine new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 302).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 72, 59, 42 and women aged 64, 69, 80, 72, 67, 68. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
Three more deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 99.
