“Armenia will use all international instruments to ensure the investigation of the military crime of a group of Armenian prisoners of war being shot by Azerbaijani soldiers on Armenia’s sovereign territory and to bring those responsible to accountability. Such acts of violence must receive the necessary response with consequences for the aggressor.” According to Armenpress, this was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, in posts on Twitter, referring to the video of Azerbaijani soldiers shooting Armenian prisoners of war.
“Another horrifying video has been circulated on social networks. Azerbaijani soldiers are shooting a group of Armenian prisoners of war on Armenia’s sovereign territory. The international community must clearly condemn and give a targeted assessment to this war crime, as well as take steps to halt Azerbaijan’s aggression.”
