On 2 October, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, who was in Geneva on a working visit, had a meeting with the American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Senior Advisor on Caucasus Negotiations Philip Ricker. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mirzoyan presented the details of Azerbaijan’s latest military aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, and deemed important the taking of clear steps by international partners in eliminating its consequences and preventing new aggressions, including the introduction of international mechanisms.
Referring to the war crimes committed with particular cruelty by Azerbaijan’s armed forces, video footage of which the Azerbaijani side is widely disseminating on social networks, Minister Mirzoyan stressed that the Armenian side will make every effort to bring the guilty to appropriate responsibility.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon a number of issues relating to regional security and stability, and exchanged views on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
