On Friday, September 30, at the Tekeyan Hall of the Armenian Youth Association, the ADL’s 101st anniversary was marked, and certificates of honor awarded by decision of the Central Board on the occasion of the ADL’s 100th anniversary were presented to party members of the Jerusalem chapter.
The ceremony opened with the anthems of Armenia and the ADL, followed by opening remarks by the secretary of the Jerusalem Regional Board, Sero Naggashyan. Words of congratulations were offered by the Chairman of the ADL’s Jerusalem Board, Hagop Panosyan, and the Chairman of the AYA, Sarkis Jirnazian.
Hagop Andreasyan, Vice-Chairman of the ADL’s Central Board, took the floor and presented the details of the celebration held in Armenia on the occasion of the Party’s 100th anniversary. Together with Hagop Panosyan, he presented the certificates of honor sent by the ADL Central Board to party members, in recognition of their many years of devoted national and party service.
In conclusion, the cutting of the ADL 101st anniversary cake took place.
