A design competition has been announced for the construction of a new building on the grounds of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Tigran Galstyan, head of the National Assembly staff, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“A design competition has been announced for the construction of a new building on the grounds of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
The specifics
1. The commission is composed of 10 members, representing the RA Urban Development Committee, the National Assembly, the Yerevan Municipality, the Chamber of Architects, and is predominantly professional,
2. The main evaluation criterion is not the price offer, but the professional staff and the sketch project presented with the competition application,
3. Regardless of the competition results, a prize fund has been established for the three best sketch projects, in the amounts of 1 million, 500 thousand and 300 thousand Armenian drams respectively.
We expect unprecedented participation and responses to the proposed format.”
