As of 20 August, 508 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected to 236,742.
According to the RA Ministry of Health’s National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 7 citizens died from the coronavirus in one day, bringing the death toll to 4,732.
In the past one day, 2 cases of death from other diseases among coronavirus-infected patients were recorded. As of 20 August, the number of such deaths is 1,143.
In one day, 293 people recovered, bringing the total number of recovered to 223,736, and the number of those currently undergoing treatment to 7,131. In one day, 7,864 tests were performed; in total, 1,469,328 tests have been performed to date.
