As of 11:00 a.m. on May 5, a total of 2,619 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 1,111 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 1,462 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 25,846 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 112 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 40 recoveries.
In total, 40 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (increased by 1).
The RA Ministry of Health reports that the patient who died from the coronavirus disease was a 64-year-old woman who had accompanying chronic illnesses. Two more deaths have been recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death resulted from another illness. The total number of such cases is 6.
