As of 11:00 a.m. on May 7, a total of 2,884 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 1,185 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 1,648 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 28,017 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 102 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 50 recoveries.
In total, 42 deaths have been recorded from the coronavirus disease (an increase of 2).
The RA Ministry of Health has announced that the deceased patients were men aged 78 and 66 and had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more deaths have been recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another disease. The total number of such cases is 9.
