In the Republic of Armenia, democratic stability has been established since May 2018. According to Armenpress, this was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion of the annual report on the progress and results of the RA government’s program in the National Assembly.
“The Republic of Armenia is a stable democratic state. You know, for many years in the Republic of Armenia there was established authoritarian stability. And against the background of authoritarian stability, democratic stability can sometimes leave the impression of instability. But I want to note that in the Republic of Armenia democratic stability has been established, popular and democratic governance has been established, and nothing threatens the democratic stability of the Republic of Armenia. I have the honor to note that in the Republic of Armenia there is no political, criminal, or mafia force that is capable of undermining the democratic stability of the Republic of Armenia, that is capable of calling into question the non-violent, popular, velvet revolution that took place in 2018,” the Prime Minister said.
