As of 11:00 a.m. on 5 August, a total of 39,586 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 30,850 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 7,738 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus. In total, 170,012 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 288 newly confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 478 recoveries.
Two new deaths from the coronavirus have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 770).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were a 64-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman. Both had underlying chronic diseases.
