As of 11:00 a.m. on 12 August, a total of 40,794 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 33,492 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 6,262 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 179,032 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 201 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 335 recovered patients.
Three new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 806).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 59 and 60 and a woman aged 64. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
There have also been 234 recorded cases where patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another illness.
