As of 11:00 on 23 August, a total of 42,825 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 36,049 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this moment, 5,666 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 195,574 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 33 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 58 recoveries.
Two new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 854).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were women aged 71 and 72. They had accompanying chronic diseases.
One more case was recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death occurred due to another disease. The total number of such cases is 256.
