The Central Board of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party announces with deep sorrow the death of Nahabet Nahabetian, which occurred on 11 February 2020, in Buenos Aires.
Nahabetian was a long-time faithful member of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party and, until recently, he was part of the distinguished ranks of honorary members of the Central Board.
As a Ramgavar leader, Nahabetian served for many years within the community life of Buenos Aires. He was the founder of the “Sardarapat” weekly, which continues to be published to this day.
He also had a significant role in the efforts to strengthen the structure of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party in the Argentina region.
