On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland sent a congratulatory message to President Armen Sarkissian of the Republic. This was announced by the Department of Public Relations of the President’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.
The message reads in particular:
“I send my congratulations to Your Excellency on the occasion of the National Day and my warm wishes for happiness and prosperity to the people of Armenia.”
