An exhibition of photographs by renowned Istanbul-Armenian photographer and journalist Ara Güler is to open in New York.
According to Armenpress, this is reported by the Turkish Anadolu news agency.
The exhibition is to present that series of Güler’s photographs depicting Istanbul of the 1950s.
It is known that after New York, the next stop of the exhibition will be Rome.
On the initiative of the Turkish presidency, within the framework of cooperation of the Ara Güler Museum, Archive and Research Center, the artist’s works are being displayed in important cities of the world. After London, Paris and Kyoto, the fourth stop is New York.
