Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented Eduard Martirosyan, acting director of the National Security Service, to the agency’s leadership staff. Martirosyan was appointed acting director following the resignation of former NSS Director Artur Vanetsyan.
“Mr. Martirosyan has spent his entire working career in the National Security Service. This is a very important record. I consider the establishment of institutions in the Republic of Armenia very important, and I believe that the NSS is a truly established institution, but we have agreed that our aspirations should grow progressively, and no matter how established any of our structures may be, our main task should be the continuous improvement of its professional level, which in no way means that its level is in any way low,” the Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan congratulated Eduard Martirosyan on assuming the responsible position.
