As 120,000 Armenians of Artsakh remain blockaded for a second month due to the illegal blockade imposed by Azerbaijan, the Armenian National Council of Western America has undertaken various measures, raising its voice of protest and demand for justice on behalf of the security of Artsakh. One of these steps is the establishment of a special website that provides an opportunity to address the White House and President Joe Biden, demanding that he take immediate steps to end the blockade of Artsakh.
Visit the website to make the voice of the Armenian people heard more effectively and to demand that Washington strongly condemn Baku’s actions and ensure the reopening of the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor. The campaign also calls for providing at least $100 million in immediate assistance for the humanitarian needs of the Armenians of Artsakh and for sending a high-level mission to the corridor to assess the situation on the ground.
Punitive measures against Baku are also demanded, and the establishment of a UN peacekeeping force in Artsakh is deemed vital.
