The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, before leaving for the front, met at night with the servicemen of the special forces units. Harutyunyan informed about this through a video published on his Facebook page.

“Our boys cannot lose, and this is not a purely emotional statement. We will defend our united Homeland with honor,” said Arayik Harutyunyan.

During the meeting with the servicemen of the special forces units, Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that our future is being decided today, the right of the Armenian people to live in this country.

“We are living through the most fateful time of centuries. We are living through the decisive moment of having or not having a Homeland. The future not only of Artsakh and Armenia but also of the Armenian nation depends on each one of us. I want you all to fulfill your service and continue to live in this Homeland as worthy sons. Be assured, we will win. We have had harder times in the 90s. We succeeded then, and we will succeed today as well. Today the right of our children to live in a free country is being determined. We have a mission before our nation and generations,” said the President.

He informed that he had earlier met with the Yazidi brothers, who have also left for the front line to protect the homeland’s soil. Arayik Harutyunyan emphasized that the international community is also united, realizing the great evil that has begun in the region.

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, had previously announced that he was leaving for the front line to fight his share of the battle.
