The Investigative Committee has obtained factual data regarding the participation of more than 4,000 members of 12 terrorist groups in the 44-day war, of whom around 300 have been identified. This was announced on the air of the Public Television by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, noting that criminal prosecution is being carried out against most of them.
“With regard to those persons whose actions are substantiated, an international search is declared, with the logic that, if possible, they will stand before a court in Armenia or in another country,” stated the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
Argishti Kyaramyan informed that criminal cases have been initiated regarding cases of overt crimes committed by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan. According to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, these relate to the 44-day war, as well as the incursions of May and November 2021, the September 2022 incident, and what took place in the direction of Khtsaberd-Hin Tagher.
“Numerous crimes committed by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan have been substantiated, including those directed against humanity, as well as waging an aggressive war, using prohibited weapons, torturing prisoners, killing captured persons, and showing disrespect towards corpses,” stated the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
