Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan considers overcoming the certain complex of representing a small country to be one of the greatest challenges for Armenia in the field of foreign policy.
Pashinyan said this during an event dedicated to the Day of the Diplomatic Service Worker on March 2.
«Our diplomacy has had glorious successes during our newly independent history, there have also been certain problems, failures, and we must go through this process. This is characteristic of the diplomacy of any country. Our greatest challenge must be overcoming the certain complex of the representative of a small country. However natural it may be, this complex hinders us in many places. The diplomatic system alone cannot overcome this complex; it must be overcome at the level of every citizen, at the level of every structure of every state institution,» said Pashinyan.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia congratulated and expressed gratitude to all representatives of the diplomatic service. Pashinyan assured that he fully and sincerely believes that today the diplomatic service has the opportunity to change the world’s attitude toward Armenia.
