Pashinyan has phone conversation with President of the European Council

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the European Council Charles Michel. The Prime Minister’s Office stated that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the European Council discussed issues related to Armenia-EU relations. The sides expressed readiness to further develop Armenia-EU cooperation, including trade and economic ties. The focus of the discussion was the agenda of democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia. The President of the European Council emphasized that he values the path of reforms chosen by Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The Prime Minister’s Office stated that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the European Council discussed issues related to Armenia-EU relations. The sides expressed readiness to further develop Armenia-EU cooperation, including trade and economic ties.

The focus of the discussion was the agenda of democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia. The President of the European Council emphasized that he values the path of reforms chosen by Armenia.

During the telephone conversation, Nikol Pashinyan and Charles Michel exchanged views on their expectations from the upcoming Eastern Partnership summit to be held in Brussels in June.

The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the Armenian side.
