Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a phone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Prime Minister Pashinyan addressed the humanitarian crisis created in Mountainous Karabakh as a result of the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan and emphasized the implementation of necessary steps by the Russian Federation towards overcoming it.
In this context, reference was made to the activities of the Russian Federation’s peacekeeping mission in Mountainous Karabakh.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan signed on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, 2021 and October 31, 2022.
Ideas were also exchanged on other agenda issues of Armenian-Russian cooperation.
