The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, received Philip Ricker, the US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and senior advisor on Caucasus negotiations.
As reported to Armenpress by the Prime Minister’s Office, Nikol Pashinyan welcomed his visit to the region and highly appreciated the role of the United States as a co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, including the formation of an international mechanism for discussions between Stepanakert and Baku.
Views were exchanged on other topics related to the regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, regional stability and security.
The interlocutors also touched upon issues related to cooperation within the framework of the Armenian-American strategic dialogue. The continued US support for the effective implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia was emphasized.
