Parents of missing servicemen held a protest in front of the Etchmiadzin military base. One of them told reporters: “They tell us, we can’t do anything. We are not authorized to bring them out, we are waiting for the ministry. Since those 34 servicemen were not there, there were 60, some came out, and from the first day they arrived they decided together that Arsen Abgaryan saved them, who for some reason was the first to leave the battlefield. The children tried to call, to inform about the situation, we don’t know where we have fallen. From the 3rd day they remember nothing, not saying anything is not a tactic, it would have been better if they had told everything. 42 days have passed, I call the boys who came out, they say they remember nothing. We have been in front of the military base since the 24th, they give us no information.”
They reported that they went to both the Ministry of Defense and the Red Cross office, met with the Prime Minister, but everything was in vain.
“Nikol Pashinyan said that those 5 regions are inaccessible to us, because it is the territory of Azerbaijan and the Red Cross cannot cooperate with them in any way, and we are forced to wait. Our children were in Kapan and by whose order they ended up in Zangelan is unknown. Now Zangelan will be the last territory they will enter to see,” said one of the parents.
