Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the telephone conversation, the humanitarian crisis continuing in Mountainous Karabakh as a result of the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan was discussed.
In this context, Prime Minister Pashinyan referred to the terrorist act carried out by Azerbaijan in Mountainous Karabakh on March 5 and its consequences. Within the framework of overcoming the crisis in Mountainous Karabakh, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia underscored Russia’s targeted response.
Ideas were also exchanged regarding the process of regulating Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
Issues relating to the implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022 were discussed.
