Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with Zhirair Sefilyan, leading member of the Sasna Tsrer party, and Garegin Chugaszyan, member of the political council of the Sasna Tsrer party. This was stated by Vladimir Karapetyan, spokesperson for the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
According to the spokesperson, issues of mutual interest were discussed. When asked on whose initiative the meeting took place, Vladimir Karapetyan said he could not say.
After the meeting, Sefilyan noted in a conversation with Factor.am that they had concerns regarding the situation created in the country, which they discussed with the Prime Minister.
“We see that the former forces are preparing for revenge; we will not allow that. We also spoke about the tangled issues inherited from the old regime. I think we will continue to talk,” he said.
It should be noted that Pashinyan’s meeting with Sefilyan took place before the start of the Armenia–Italy match. After the meeting, Pashinyan went to the Republican Stadium to watch the football match.
