In January-June 2019, the gross domestic product of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states grew by 1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Among the Union’s member states, Armenia recorded the highest economic growth, as it did last year, at 6.8 percent, followed by Kyrgyzstan at 6.4 percent. During the said period, investments within the Union grew by 2.1 percent, with the highest growth rate recorded in Kazakhstan at 11.7 percent.
According to Armenpress, the Eurasian Economic Commission has published the main socio-economic indicators of the EAEU member states for January-July of the current year. Compared to the same period of the previous year, in January-July of this year, growth was recorded in all indicators within the EAEU, with the exception of external and mutual trade.
