Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Zbigniew Rau addressed the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. Emphasizing the comprehensive settlement of the NK conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, they noted the importance of protecting the fundamental rights of the population of Artsakh.
Zbigniew Rau stated that the OSCE will continue its efforts to contribute to the exclusively peaceful settlement of the NK conflict and to ensuring stability and peace in the South Caucasus.
They also discussed processes taking place in the international arena.
During a joint press conference following the meeting with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Polish Foreign Minister Rau, who is in Armenia on a regional visit, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan also stressed that Yerevan expects that the military operations unfolding in Ukraine will not push the Karabakh conflict off the OSCE agenda.
