Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that the Karabakh issue is not yet fully resolved, but there is progress.
During the meeting with Aliyev, Putin noted that agreements have been reached regarding the development of trade and economic ties in Mountainous Karabakh.
According to Putin, there are also disputes, but Moscow will do everything to ensure that the settlement process proceeds peacefully.
“In any case, there are already certain agreements not only regarding ensuring the security of all people living there (in Mountainous Karabakh – Ed.), but also from the perspective of developing trade and economic ties and unblocking road communications. I know there are still disputes, there is work to be done, but we for our part will do everything so that this process develops by peaceful means, by a peaceful path, and so that we reach the satisfaction of all parties involved in this process,” Putin said.
