On April 27, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan paid a working visit to one of the Armed Forces training units.
Suren Papikyan toured the unit’s grounds and training building, spoke with conscripted soldiers, and observed the progress of training courses. The unit’s commander, Colonel Davit Aleksanyan, presented the structure and functions of the unit to the head of the defense department.
The Defense Minister paid tribute and laid flowers at the khachkars commemorating the memory of National Hero of Armenia Vahagn Asatryan and the soldiers killed and missing during the 44-day war.
On the same day, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan also visited the “Baghramyan” training ground, where he observed the testing of strike drones designed by one of the domestic military-industrial enterprises.
