During yesterday’s question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, I stated that since May 2021, three proposals have been put forward by Russia regarding the implementation of demarcation and delimitation between the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and all three have been acceptable to us and will continue to remain acceptable. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the government meeting.
“After my statement yesterday, the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Defence came forward with proposals regarding the preparatory phase of demarcation and delimitation. I want to reaffirm that those proposals are acceptable to us,” he said.
The Prime Minister addressed Defence Minister Suren Papikyan, saying: “Please clarify the details with your Russian counterpart, and let us try to implement the proposals within the framework and on the basis of the proposals made by the Russian Federation.”
