Russian Peacekeepers Hand Over More Than 1,960 Bodies to Armenian and Azerbaijani Authorities

Since their deployment in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian peacekeepers have returned more than 1,900 bodies to the local authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was announced by Rustam Muradov, deputy commander of Russia’s Southern Military District. Through the peacekeepers, more than 1,960 bodies of the killed have been returned to the local authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan. To this day, we continue the search operations. More than 100 soldiers from both sides have been freed from captivity and returned to their homeland.

Since their deployment in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian peacekeepers have returned more than 1,900 bodies to the local authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was announced by Rustam Muradov, deputy commander of Russia’s Southern Military District.

Through the peacekeepers, more than 1,960 bodies of the killed have been returned to the local authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan. To this day, we continue the search operations.

More than 100 soldiers from both sides have been freed from captivity and returned to their homeland.
