On 17 November, until late evening, with the support of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian Federation peacekeeping contingent, the search for missing persons and the recovery of the bodies of victims continued in the directions of Martuni and Shushi.
Search operations at the sites of military operations are continuing, encompassing new, more extensive areas.
Let us recall that Nikol Pashinyan signed a trilateral statement on 9 November, under which seven regions of Artsakh, Shushi and Hadrut pass to Azerbaijan, with the exception of one village, villages from the Askeran and Martuni districts, as well as the villages of Talish and Mataghis in the Martakert district.
According to that statement, a Russian Federation peacekeeping contingent will be deployed along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh and along the Lachin corridor, including 1,960 servicemen armed with small arms, 90 armored vehicles, 380 units of vehicles and special equipment. Part of the Russian Federation peacekeepers has already been deployed in Artsakh.
