On 31 December 2021, at approximately 10:50, at one of the combat positions of a military unit of the RA Ministry of Defence stationed in the Vayots Dzor Province, a conscripted soldier of the same unit, Private Movses Aramayisi Tadevosyan (born 2003), was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Private Tadevosyan died on the way to the hospital.
As a result of operational measures carried out in connection with the incident, the fellow serviceman of the deceased soldier has been arrested on suspicion of committing the aforementioned crime. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
